FRIDAY CORPORATE BUSINESS CASUAL FUN FOR 600 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS CELEBRATING THEIR CHOSEN CAREER PATHS AT ST. PHILIP’S COLLEGE 2018 MONSTER TECH FEST NOV. 16

SPC event connects prospective college students with solid opportunities to study with SPC and gain professional practical experience with SPC’s industry partners for well-paid local jobs as alumni in a monstrously healthy bevy of multi-billion dollar industries

The St. Philip's College Monster Tech Fest that connects prospective college students with solid opportunities to study, have fun and gain professional practical experience for well-paid local jobs in a healthy bevy of multi-billion dollar industries is a must-do Friday business casual appointment Nov. 16 from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at the college's Southwest Campus at 800 Quintana Road, according to event organizer Manuel Navarro, college middle college programs director.

The 2018 lineup that is open to free public attendance includes Michael Alanis, a 24-year-old singer/songwriter from San Antonio, performing live outdoors in his Monster Tech Fest debut, along with debut displayers from the St. Philip’s College Commercial Driver’s License Program Team, bringing in both a 70-foot-long truck and faculty with information on a monstrously large bumper crop of well-paid jobs in their industry. Popular return guests are the college’s Tiger 1 Electric Car Project Team and Sergio Guerra, a local special effects makeup artist.

St. Philip’s College traditionally hosts 600 high school students at Monster Tech Fest programs. The Friday corporate business casual program with fantasy themes provides high school students the opportunity to confirm and celebrate decisions about their futures as they collect college program information from career, technical and STEM education faculty in a laid back and globally engaged industrial business training atmosphere. The Monster Tech Fest lineup includes more than 20 academic programs for students in such lucrative fields as robotics, surgery and automation, plus outdoor fun, food trucks and booths, a car show, live band, DJ entertainment, complimentary group photography, a mobile video game truck and St. Philip's College gear giveaways. The takeaway for prospective and confirmed college students should be assurances that SPC will provide them with solid opportunities to study, have fun and gain professional practical experience for well-paid jobs as alumni in a healthy bevy of multi-billion dollar industries.
